D Major Scale piano keyboard diagram showing the notes D E F♯ G A B C♯.

With two sharps, F♯ and C♯, the D Major Scale expands your understanding of key signatures while developing confidence across the keyboard. Built from the notes D, E, F♯, G, A, B and C♯, it is widely used in orchestral, piano and contemporary music. Learning D Major strengthens finger coordination and highlights how the same major scale formula creates different musical colours. Through the Visual Piano System, these relationships become clear, allowing patterns to replace memorisation.
